Fashion and Fine Jewelry Warranties

MM FASHION JEWELRY WARRANTY

We offer a 6 month warranty on all MM fashion jewelry purchases:

  • Covers manufacturing defects (ear wire snapping off, faulty clasp)
  • Covers repairs for items that have only been exposed to regular wear and tear as determined by MM staff

DOES NOT COVER: 

  • Items that have clearly been subject to reckless wear outside of the recommended care and maintenance and in turn destroyed by human error (yes people have brought in flattened rings they ran over with a car).
  • Items that have been worked on by a 3rd party

As we well know accidents happen! Whether this is the mistake of not properly caring for your jewelry or accidentally snagging it on something, we will do our best to help fix the issue.  If you find yourself in need of a repair, please contact us at info@marisamason.com, or stop by one of our shops to have your piece reviewed by a member of our team. Outside of manufacturing defects, the costs for repairs starts at $25 and we seek to keep our repair costs as low as possible.  The ultimate cost is dependent on the nature of the repair.

 

FINE JEWELRY WARRANTY

We offer a 1 year warranty on all fine jewelry purchases above $1500.  This 1 year warranty extends to ALL Marisa Mason brand fine jewelry (gold) of any price point.  ***The one-year warranty only applies to pieces that have been exposed to normal wear and tear as determined by our repair team.***

The one-year warranty covers the following

  • Replacement of accent stones and stones under 3mm
  • Reattach or reshape post, stone replacement for earrings
  • Fix chain, replace clasp, stone replacement for necklaces
  • For pieces over $1500 one complimentary resizing down- sizing up is much more involved and will have a cost depending on complexity /market pricing  ** not all rings can be resized**
  • For rings under $1500 resizing is offered but not complimentary. Refer to resizing Fee Schedule here
  • Jewelry inspection by our production team- checking for loose settings, etc.

The one-year warranty does not cover:

  • Loss of a piece
  • Sizing up
  • Center stone replacement (to be assessed on a case by case basis)
  • Jewelry that has been repaired/modified by a 3rd party
  • Stones that have been damaged by improper cleaning techniques (refer to our care and maintenance guideline).
  • Items that have been subject to wear outside of the recommended care and maintenance and in turn damaged by human error (yes people have brought in flattened rings they ran over with a car).
